pADDOCK PARKING
GET CLOSE TO THE KID ZONE, VENDORS AND BEER GARDEN. QUICK WALK TO THE FINISH LINE STRETCH AND PADDOCK WHERE YOU CAN WATCH THE HORSES BEFORE THE RACE.
PREMIUM FOUNDERS HILL PARKING
PARK IN THE FIRST FEW ROWS OF FOUNDERS HILL PARKING.

DO'S AND DONT'S
DO'S
Bring and display your parking pass.
Dress appropriately for weather and terrain. Shawan Downs is hilly and this is primarily a walking event.
Be courteous to your Finish Line Box, Tailgate and Tent neighbors.
Pets must be on a leash at all times. Please clean up after them.
Bring a picnic, blanket, chairs. We will also have Food Trucks on site.
Be sure to walk around and check out all we have to offer, maybe you will want to upgrade to a tent next year!

DONT'S
No flags, flag poles, banners, balloons, awnings, or standing umbrellas.
10 x 10 pop-up tents are only allowed in the Railside Parking areas and must be securely anchored to the ground. The race committee reserves the right to request that tents be taken down for safety reasons.
Don’t overcrowd your assigned space.
No drones.
No firearms or fireworks of any kind.
No third party vendors or caterers allowed on the property.
No generators or cooking grills of any kind.
No loud music from speakers or car radios.
No golf carts, gators, mopeds, atv’s, pull behind trailers or cookers
POLICIES
Races run rain or shine. There are no refunds issued.
Gates open at 10:00 am, close at 6:00 pm.
For the safety of all, no glass other than wine & beer bottles.
Disorderly behavior of any kind will be grounds for removal from the property.
Parking Passes are only valid for one admittance. If your vehicle leaves the parking area, you will not be able to re-enter with the same pass again. Be mindful and respectful of others.
No illegal drug use or underage drinking is allowed.
Heavy alcohol consumption will not be tolerated.
Spectators are not permitted on the racecourse.
Credentials are required for access to the steward stand and ticketed tents.
Items on the do’s and don’ts lists are part of the policies.
Follow color coded signage to your assigned parking area. Your color is listed on your parking pass.
Police and parking attendants will be there to direct you.
Free limited on-site golf carts shuttles will stop at designated stops on the grounds.
For your safety, no shuttles will go up the hill to the blue Founders Hill parking area Plan to carry any coolers, food and materials you bring to your final destination. No vehicle larger than a mini-van, SUV or standard pickup truck will be allowed. Handicap parking is available in each parking area.
